Beginning with the Sable Offshore Energy Project (SOEP),1 the energy landscape of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia changed with the onset of the latter’s offshore production. The project was accompanied by the construction of the 1,400-kilometer Maritime & Northeast Pipeline (M&NP), transporting natural gas from the offshore projects to the New England markets, from Goldboro, Nova Scotia to Dracut, Massachusetts. Located approximately 250 kilometers off the coast of Nova Scotia, SOEP and Deep Panuke are connected to the Goldboro gas plant and Point Tupper Fractionation plant.... Download the full report
